TDK was founded by Spookz August 15th, 2009 around 3am
The first publicly announced clan of INF...
Less then 12 hours later NYC was born by Rudeboi, a player who makes us all wonder....did hell finally take the well named "villian of INF"? (He stopped playing)
These two were main rivals...until STR.
STR, created by Starr, and co-lead by Superman, appeared on the forums by August 20th already becoming strong with many members. This clan had been thought up during the same time as TDK and NYC, discussed between the two leaders only 2 hours after INF developers released the clan update. This update created editable "tags".
STR joined TDK against an ultimate rivalry with NYC.
During the end of August there was a merge between TDK and STR....QTM became the tags.
A few STR didn't like this...mainly myself and Superman, so STR remained on 3 characters while QTM grew.
But QTM fell and soon with it TDK.
Around this time NYC vanished.
STR rose from the ashes and continued to live on, alive to the date of this post.
In the midst of the STR and NYC battles...
DIE, the very 1st official DM clan was established in late August and lasted into early September. Sicc as leader and Spyder as second in charge. Sicc dissapeared in Mid September, leaving Spyder to keep it going. Players started to dissappear. Spyder continued to represent DIE until late September, when he decided to end the clan. The day after Diesel, jv, 19121 and Spyder started uac.
And the new contender arrived, uac. First laughed at, now it is one of the largest clans of INF. Started by 19121 and Diesel as primary leaders, the leadership was later passed on soley to Diesel, who then gave uac its reputation. Spyder gave uac its calling card, the legendary "hooooooowlll!" and wolf pack theme.
STR and uac began its "friendly rivalry" soon after. Both clans grew steadily.
There were smaller clans, but they were not well known, and most died off quickly.
One small clan that has made its mark in INF clan history is one that started soon after the other major ones, ELT, lead by xneXesx. It remains small due to its "elite" requirements, which is also its reason for remaining strong regardless of numbers.
Zero began the first ever class clan, comprised of nothing but brutes. He raised his first marine and brute along with beta players and then soon after met Flash and joined STR. Brute being his most loved class, he decided to make KBK in October 2009, to unite with others who prefer the heavy class above all others.
Another small clan that is still seen today is a clan who's tags is comprised of numbers. Every member having a different one. Very little is known about this clan, but there are still sightings of its members to this day.
Slusho created a strictly female clan called DvA, tags short for Diva. Co-lead by Piggy for a short time.
By November, uac and STR were the two major clans of INF
The first official clan war between STR and uac was scheduled for a two day weekend of battles.
After the first day's match, STR came out on top...but that very night, within its ranks, a split occurred.
-7- emerged the next morning, with Superman and HotMama as leaders. Many STR members stripped their STR tags and replaced them with -7-
Chaos errupted as clans clashed with insults and accusations. STR members considered -7- traitorous. -7- rebuked with said intentions to make the game "more interesting".
Deisel and Starr retire, handing down leadership to a few of their loyal members.
New clans began popping up one by one. Former STR Terencela joined with uac Camshaft to create WaR.
DAT, GWT and many other clans begin to make their presence known on the forums.
Uac Greiver creates BoD and GetMoney co-leads. GetMoney splits off to TRU.
Deisel returns to the game, reclaiming his leadership over uac.
FoA rises out of nowhere, by former STR BlackHeart, as the first "secret society" clan. A brotherhood comprised of secret and not-so-secret players that proclaim a self-made mission to create a fair gaming environment.
-7-, uac, and FoA become the largest clans January 2010.
-7- vs TRU....-7- wins
FoA vs -7-....FoA wins. Within this battle Starr reappears with FoA tags and reclaims leadership of STR.
DvA merges with WaR. TRU merges with ELT.
By March, it seems that STR is finally breathing its last breaths and FoA closes down fully, as Starr and Blackheart walk away from INF gaming.
New tags begin to pop up left and right, many failing, but a surprising amount succeeding.
A new leading clan emerges, with tru as leader. KOW are the tags. These Kings Of War, within weeks skyrocket in numbers. By May, they branch off to incorporate QOW, Queens Of War, an all female division of their massive clan. This kingdom of players, run by an actual married couple (the 1st king and queen), wars with the best of them.
In May a large change occurs within many of the clans. WaR passes leadership down to Loopz, Gundam, and Shinigami. ELT passes leadership to Flesh. TheFlash, one of the last leading STR members active, retires causing STR to finally lay to rest...or does it still have some breath left?
