I don't do much DM as a scout but I'd say the best would be large accuracy, large damage. I'd keep a slot free for invis, gas and flash and the other for a stimpack...would probably be the best setup for maximising kills and minimising deaths.

If ur *REALLY* good with ur menu and being able to switch items u can wear 3 trinkets. I have (usually) lg dmg, lg accuracy lg armor.... during cool down I usually will also have a small armor. Got 42/4 with this setup yesterday

Welcome to the forums BTW alex!
 8-) 8-)

personally i would have to say a good DM style of playing (with scout class) would be this:

Start with this setup:

Setup #1:
Left: Sprint
Up: Stimpack
Right: Invisible
Down: Smoke

Step #1
When you get to a group of enemies use invisible. Then switch it out for flash.

Your setup will look like this:

Setup #2:
Left: Sprint
Up: Stimpack
Right: Flash
Down: Smoke

Step #2
Use flash first and then smoke on the enemies.

Step #3
Use stimpack and then another smoke followed shortly afterward by another flash.

Step #4
Switch back to Setup #1 and go invisible.

Step #5
While invisible switch out Up Right and Down for strength, defense, and accuracy trinkets of the highest grade.

Step #6
When you die switch back to Setup #1 and repeat steps.

Hope this helps :D

Note:
The Sprint staying on the left side is because if you get caught in someone else's smoke, you should get out of it. ;)
Doing that helps you get a better kill to death ratio.

very nice oxcart.

However I keep my trinkets on the whole time so that while im still attacking i have defense and offense too. just a lotta practice n timing switching items. try it both ways n see what u like best.

A vet is in my opinion some overrated title, its made up by ppl who has been here since closed beta.
Those ppl helped a lot to make this game the way it is now, and they want some credit for it, thus, calling themselves vet.
Along the way the title vet became much more than "closed beta" players for some ppl, they believed a vet was some special uber player who you should respect no mather what.
I find the title "closed beta player" a lot better because ppl will automaticly understand how you received that title :)
No offense to any closed betta player, this is just how i see things.

A Vet is an Animal Doctor and is short for Veterinary Surgeon. :D
