Brutes seem to be lacking.

Classes overpowered? Ability cooldown too quick? Certain items too expensive?

superman wrote:U got to spend some time as a scout trying to return a flag against a group of brutes and marines without the smoke and flash there is no chance. Yeah its annoying but so is almost killing a bruti then they enrage and take u out. Its all part of the game. Takes some skill to drag a stem to a slot when u get flashed

I still wish I could reflect flash back at a scout that would make them think twice about using it on my brute

1st I wish we could put our stuff in order of where we want it... my marine has so much damn money that on slow days I have literally bought thousands of medpaks n stims... the bonus here is I only have to shop when I get down to a few hundred - so like every couple of weeks. And also I know right where my meds stims etc are... so w my marine flash away I know right where to tap n drag to get my meds n stims etc, .... on the other had my scout runs outta sh*t constantly so I can't hold a flag for crap once they start flashin cuz there's this constant rotation of items...

2 omfg I so wish flash could be reflected.... and at the same damn time I don't cuz I basically use kbs method (plus my own twist) to get my flag back and goddammit! If the flash was reflected on me I would be pissed! Lmao

Lol I use the flash/smokes combos and a few other things myself but that's just my style of engaging the opposite team...... see if devs could make it that when leveling up your chars you kinda build a unique set of skills( instead of having every scout have the same skills smoke/flash/sprint......etc they gave you choices..... like instead of having a smoke you could have a list of other skills but only one can be set in each slot) also if some skills could be harder to obtain not just by reaching a certain level but by completed requierements like after havinf over 4000 kills you could call in a nuke or artillery strike lol... you guys get the idea. I think that would build a much more intense game.. rather then making it easier to which ever team has more scouts or marines.
where everyone else fails we succeed.

I have mastered the art of hitting menu and dragging my skills, medpacks, and stimpacks over, and using them successfully while blinded with a flashbang or assault of flashbangs. it took practice, but now, i can just feel the irritation of a scout when the blindness goes away and I kill them. It was a nice attempt, but I've got irl skills with this phone. ;)

Nah, Brutes are fine. Either you don't know how to use one or you're in the wrong class. Brutes are for offense minded players. It's all about tactics. You can either sit and wait for your opponent to come after you (CTF) or you can go after them (DTM). It all depends on the type of match. For example, if you got a bunch of high leveled brutes in a CTF match, you can make them stay by the flag to protect it. As soon as you see a scout, an accuracy trinket along with a luck ability should really, REALLY lower his health fast if it doesn't kill him. The good thing is you don't have to kill him because if you have good teammates, they should finish off where you started.

As for the other abilities, I can't tell you ALL the strategies but you just have to time them and KNOW the right moment to use it etc. Good luck.

true in many ways the only use the brutes are to ctf is pure defense, a replacement for luck sounds like a good idea. enrage is good for whenever you have about 1hp left anyway. so it's good for tearing up people in the last couple seconds of life

Dude brutes never have to die unless lag kills them or they kamakazi in the enemy's base and the scouts keep coming back.

Memorize this
Enrage  medpack  stimpack  enrage  medpack

If your brute isn't the last one standing after that, your playing him wrong.

i still like the stun grenade idea.. but i think it would change the game completely.. It would be impossible to remain flag holder for a long time..
