For the stars and target maps, this can be solved easily. Instead of showing just the current target, it could show a faded/semitransparent/smaller/greyscale/etc target at the location where it's going to appear NEXT round. For stars, this can be done as well.
That way you'd know what's gonna happen next round and you won't have to hate yourself for not being near the 'random' spawns.
This is a great idea. Kinda like spotlight in cestos where the yellow light indicates which hole is gonna open next, u could have a shaded transparent target to let people know where the next target will appear next. This would let players use strategy to be able to move to the nearby area instead of rellying on luck.
