No offense Chickenbrick but the current ranking system is a bucket of $hit. Allow me to explain. EXP in Cestos doesn't work for ranking. This is not the World of Warcraft. In a game were winning and losing is the premise, skill should weigh into ranking. Games like WOW, are NOT based on winning. People run around gathering crap and building up characters. In Cestos people pit their skills against others. You can't measure one players worth over another in the current ranking system.
Here is an example illustrating my point that people care more about skill than your current EXP ranking system. Clans. What do they look for when they recruit? Level 60? Nope. They look for players with high win percentage using the win loss percentage statistic.
Please develop a algorithm of ranking that weighs more on SKILL and less on EXP.
I'm not one to tell you HOW you do this, but I would like to offer up that yes people should reach a certain plateau of games to qualify.
Here is a reason to consider my request as it is not entirely self serving. In Chickenbrick's interest the community could grow exponentially instead of just growing the core players slightly over the past year. After all, we can all see to total numbers of players online at any time. It's idle under 200 at most times. There is always someone new to play Cestos but many players do not stick with it. While the game replay value is high, even the steady players soon lose interest. To keep them they either join a clan which to some eventually loses its luster or you (Chickenbrick) can work the ranking system for all it's worth. I personally believe fixing the ranking system will unlock the doors to retaining more players over time. It will also create a dynamic of competitiveness unseen before.
